01What’s inside

From the first slide to the front of the room.

  1. 01

    Presenter view

The audience sees the slides in a window you move to the projector. You keep the current and next slide, your speaker notes and a timer you can pause.

  2. 02

    Clicker-ready

Arrow keys, Space, Page Up, Page Down and most presentation clickers move through the deck. B blacks out the screen, and a number then Enter jumps to that slide.

  3. 03

    Layouts and themes

Six layouts and six themes to start from. Change any theme’s colours and fonts - 21 fonts, Arabic ones included - and the whole deck follows.

  4. 04

    Shapes, images and guides

Text boxes, shapes, lines and arrows, and images from your device that you can crop. Objects snap to each other and to the slide, then align, distribute and group.

  5. 05

    Transitions, in moderation

Fade, push, zoom or wipe between slides, with a duration you set and a preview, on one slide or all of them. Hide a slide to skip it when you present.

  6. 06

    PowerPoint and PDF

Download a .pptx that keeps your speaker notes, or a PDF with real, selectable text. Every version is kept, ready to preview and restore.

02Why Pabbel

Why rehearse your pitch inside an ad business?

Pabbel Slides

Unannounced plans, pitches and lessons are the work you least want profiled. Pabbel Slides is paid for by the people who use it, not by advertising, so your decks are never scanned to target ads and never sold. Each deck is a file in your own Drive, shared only with the people you choose and opened only after they sign in.

03Questions

Asked and answered.

Is Pabbel Slides free?
Yes. Slides comes with every Pabbel account, including the free one. Decks count toward the storage your account shares with Mail and Drive - 10 GB free - and plans with more start at $5.49 a month.
How does presenter view work with a projector?
Start presenter view and Slides opens the audience slides in a second window. Drag it onto the projector or second screen and click it to go full screen; your notes, the next slide and the timer stay with you. Allow pop-ups for Slides the first time.
Can I give a deck to someone who uses PowerPoint?
Yes. Download it as a .pptx with your speaker notes, or as a PDF that anyone can open. Slides exports PowerPoint files; it does not open them.
Can others edit my deck?
Yes. Share it by email with people who can view or edit, or with a link anyone signed in to Pabbel can view. Editing is not live between people: if two of you save the same deck, Slides asks whether to load the newer version, keep yours or save yours as a copy.
Can I go back to an earlier version?
Yes. Slides keeps your newest 20 versions, then one an hour, up to 60 in all. Preview any of them as thumbnails and restore it - and undo the restore if you change your mind.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Slides runs in any modern browser once you sign in, in 31 languages, with layouts, swipes and transitions that flip for Arabic, Persian and Urdu.
